“First I’ll say I’m a single mom and shopping without the kids is not always an option. I went in last Saturday to get some work clothes, and I will just say my kids were not on their best behavior. Typical boys running everywhere and hiding in the racks. I was ready to call it quits and walk out, but the two amazing clerks helped keep them busy and reassured me it was okay! “Was at the Fox River Grove pharmacy last Saturday to pick up a flu prescription. Tamiflu generic was out of stock - only Tamiflu was available. Without insurance this drug cost was around $500 I think. Krystal and Michael K at the pharmacy went out of their way to look up and call other pharmacies to check if they had the generic to no luck. They then called the doctor to check if generic tablets could be prescribed instead of Tamiflu. The doctor was in agreement and I walked out paying $50 instead of $500. In addition Krystal tried real hard to look up the insurance details for the foster child (as I did not as yet have this information) so that I would not have to pay from my own pocket. I would like to thank both Krystal and Michael for their extraordinary service and empathy. Walgreens should be proud to have you.”
