Emphasis on personal faith thru a Biblical foundation, motivating service in community, church family, and around the world, this is one of nearly 100 U.S. locations. ACC roots go back to early 18th century and Switzerland's Evangelical Baptist movement. This location offers a typical duo of traditional worship/service hours in morning/afternoon with shared lunch. There is Sunday school and various local and national outreach efforts with the ACC worldwide mission and relief organization HarvestCall. The truth of the Gospel is the goal here and all are encouraged to live it out each day thru Jesus.
(August 12, 2018, 4:56 am)Attended the 2018 general conference on Friday August 10th. From the parking location specialist that directed us upon entering the parking lot, the warm and friendly greeter that opened the door and knew our name, to the water and lunch removal and seating consultants they directed us to the restroom and our seats in the sanctuary and finally to the behind the scenes individuals that made lunch run smoothly, the sound system clear and everything run on time. In fact we were finished ahead of schedule. Thank you, your hospitality is World Class.
On the next day I even had the opportunity to serve by retrieving signs, prepping them for storage and returning the refrigerated box truck to Midwest Food Bank in Bloomington. I highly recommend attending a service because you will be loved on with the love of Jesus. You will have the Gospel presented and you will have the opportunity to know Jesus at a personal and deeper intimate level.
