Monroe County History Museum

This museum was so much more than I had expected. I will definitely be back, especially for the lectures.

Terrific county museum with an eclectic collection of local and western items. The museum has a large enough collection to rotate items so we will need to return to view additional pieces.

The museum was very interesting and our tour guide was informative and fun. The curator has done an excellent job and showcased Waterloo and county wonderfully. Take your family and friends for a great day!

Rich in history and very well organized! This is a history lovers haven!!!

This museum showcases local artifacts with an emphasis on wagons, equestrian gear (bridles, saddles, tack) and a few antique vehicles. It's quite surprising to find such an extensive collection. They also have an actual storefront of a general store with representative goods. Interesting!
