I worked at PNRC in the past year & very much enjoyed it! The staff are freindly & so caring. It was an awesome bunch of people to work with! The facility has been recently remodeled & updated. It is VERY clean & all of the employees work as a team to make this place the best that it can be! This includes management employees that are not necessarily based at this facility. (Ie: Lonnie😊) Everyone is out on the floor helping. It does NOT smell & is extremely clean. Let's face it ppl, if you have alot of ppl in an enclosed area, you are going to have temporary smell no matter what you do. Even our own homes have that. I have worked in long term care for many years & can absolutely honestly say that i would have no problem with my elderly parents living here when the time comes. I'm very impressed with the care that the residents recieve. The other great thing about this facility is that it is small & the residents do not get "lost in the shuffle" like you would see in a larger home. The Rehab dept is large & very nice for a home of this size also. I definitely want to add that the food is high quality with excellent cooks! Everything is freshly made & tastes great. We always hoped there were leftovers! 😋
Working with those who can't help themselves is a very difficult job, I'm thankful that there are those willing to sacrifice Thier lives to help those in need
My Uncle has been at this facility for about 4 months. I have visited him twice on a Thursday, and once on a Saturday. The staff is awesome and when we walked in the front door, they immediately greeted us and asked who we were visiting. Each time that we have been there, the place was clean and didn't smell like an old folks home. When we were there last Thursday, Carol was so nice to us. She brought in extra chairs for us and even brought us coffee. I felt comforted that my Uncle is being well taken care of at this facility.
