Matt was a phenomenal guide. Put my group on deer every single day despite temperatures in the high 80s most of our trip. We got to share camp with a fellow that got a 157” 12pt. Wanda and Gary are the absolute best hosts you could possibly ask for, and I cannot WAIT to take more friends and family hunting at Harpoles Heartland Lodge in the years to come! 5 stars hands down!
Had a wonderful time at the lodge. The food and people I met made a relaxing time. I had Rod for a guide and what a blast. He and his dogs created a great hunting experience. He thought me a lot as well about bird tendencies and native grasses. Thanks again.
I just spent three days of the best upland bird hunting I’ve experienced. The fields and the birds were top-notch. My guide was Tim N. Tim was simply a pleasure and treated me as if we new each other for years!
The food, the lodging and the atmosphere were all exceptional.
Absolutely loved staying here for the weekend. If you have a side by side or four wheeler highly recommend booking a trip. Also when choosing to stay choose to get the meals they prepare. Some of the best food we have ever had. Not only is the staff kind and sweet but it truly has a family feel that we absolutely loved. Cannot wait to come back!
My sister and I went on one of our best adventures yet at Harpole's Heartland Lodge. We stayed in the Pheasant Ridge Suite. There was a very nice daybed my sister slept on and I starfished on the amazing king-sized bed. The suite was HUGE. It had a closet with hangers and space under the bed for stashing our suitcases so there was no clutter while we were in the room. It also had a MASSIVE hot tub in the bathroom along with a operate shower, and more counter space than I would ever dream of needing. And the doors that lead out to the deck opened up into a breath taking view of the trees and wildlife.
We did a few of the activities, as we are middle-aged and needed downtime and naps. The horse back riding was fantastic! The ATV rentals/trails were mind glowingly wonderful. And the food. I cannot stress this enough: EAT EVERY MEAL YOU CAN THERE!!! I promise, you will have zero regrets for doing this, the trip was worth it for the food alone.
There was so much more than the food though, so you should totally stay here. It was all of this, and the staff was so friendly, helpful, and understanding. We were discussing our next visit as we were pulling out of the lodge.
