Boiler Room Restaurant

I got the prime rib which was good. My mother got the Reuben which was excellent and the atmosphere matched. I got the feeling that somebody else had eaten the same meal in the same spot 150 years ago

This place had the most amazing atmosphere and the people were so inviting. They went above and beyond with their service. If I’m traveling through the area again I’ll most definitely stop in again.

Unique restaurant in 1800's hotel, food was great and prices for fried chicken dinners is unbelievably low.

First time to the Boiler Room Restaurant. Stopped here for dinner and pickup our grandson. Got sat down at a table quickly with menus.
Drink orders came quickly. Had the Fried Veggie platter. It was good and hot. Wife and daughter had the side salad and had the soup of the day.
"New Clam Chowder". Salads were ok. Pretty much just lettuce leaf, no extra Veggies. Now the chowder was delish and piping hot. We ordered a 2pc chicken, 4pc chicken, French dip sandwich and a kids grilled cheese. Chicken was again piping hot, had to let cool a bit. It was very good and juicy. Daughter's dip sandwich didn't have cheese. Don't know if that's the it comes, but she said it was real good anyway. The kids grill cheese was made with Texas toast. A good hearty grilled cheese. Server was fast with more drinks, clearing the clutter on table and checked on us for anything we needed. Will be back.

Our waitress was awesome, she recommended the fried chicken. Handmade onion rings, nice side salad with house Poppy Seed dressing, excellent fried chicken with roll. Hubby and I both ate for under $20! Will return if ever in the area.
