I can't say enough positive things about McCauley. Their staff is
professional and well trained. We lost a family member who had
been sick since birth. They adequately fielded all emotions from
rather odd jokes to serious grief. Our deceased looked stunning if
that is indeed possible. The building is clean and spacious and the
room with the food and refrigerator is huge. Plenty of room for
overflow in the actual viewing area in the expanse of the hallway.
We offer our sincere thanks to all staff there. I have not one
bad thing to say! Excellent!
My father was Hindu and when I contacted the Lamont Hindu temple for a priest to conduct his final rites, they recommended this place to handle the arrangements. The staff are familiar with Hindu traditions and his pooja service and cremation were respectfully handled and his traditions honored. They played recorded devotional music and helped us design his memorial card with a prayer in Sanskrit translated in English. My family was well satisfied at this sad time.
The McCauley's are respectful and accommodating. I appreciate their attention to my family. Thank you!
I was 150+ miles away at college when my grandmother passed away so I felt intense guilt about not being able to say goodbye to her. I wasn't able to get home until ~12 hours after her death. McCauley delayed her cremation so I could see her and say my goodbyes to her. Saying goodbye to my grandmother is an experience that I'll always cherish, and I'm eternally grateful to McCauley for letting me say goodbye to her.
Every staff member at this funeral home is excellent! They treated us with empathy, kindness, and humility. They made a very difficult time easier with their professionalism and integrity.
