“Dr A is the best doctor I have ever had. He is friendly, has a great sense of humor and respects his patients. I am 70 years old and Dr. A. agreed to totally replace both my shoulders in a six week time frame, after I had suffered for 30 years. The surgery went great, I used no opiates and there was very little pain, the rehab was easy (Jason at ATI) and actually enjoyable. I had an 'anatomical' on the left and a 'reverse' on the right. I was good to go in about 8 weeks. I haven't even mentioned his intelligence and surgical skill which is unquestionable. I travel 1100 miles to see him. “It was by accident that I met Dr. Peter Kakavas back in 2010. He was the cardiologist assigned to me at Palos Hospital when I went to emergency.
