“A nice, cozy little non-denominational church dedicated to God and the teachings of Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible. It is located at the corner of Bluff & Ruby in Joliet and membered by a very sincere and dedicated clergy and laity. The sermons are enlightening, inspiring, often topical, and always well-delivered by the pastor, members, and occasionally a visiting pastor from another congregation. This church is attended by some of the kindest people you will ever meet. New Direction Church also provides a Bible study group once a week and an active prayer line telephone group twice a week for the infirm, those who live too far away, and all members who care to partake. On the 3rd Sunday of every month a free and fantastic home cooked meal is served after service to all who care to participate. I have been coming here for a little over two years at the time of this review and could not more highly recommend this fine church to anyone truly seeking the Word of God in a pretense-free and friendly environment.”
