  Gordon is just about the only mechanic that I can trust. Transmission wizard! I can always trust his word and judgement. Would definitely recommend him to anyone. Great guy and excellent customer service.

  My 2000 Camry recently had a breakdown in the drive-thru of a Subway. I immediately contacted Chobar’s Towing out of Plainfield. Upon speaking with their personnel, he recommended having the car towed to D & G transmission. Never hearing of or using them before, I was a bit apprehensive. Upon the arrival of the driver, he also recommended bringing the vehicle to D & G transmission. He could not talk highly enough of them and assured me that all would be well. Based on their recommendations I had my vehicle towed to that location. The next morning I spoke to Gordon as My vehicle had broken down on a Sunday afternoon. After he looked at my vehicle, he informed me that all would be well and that he would have the repair done by the next business day. A shifter cable had to be ordered hence the one day delay. The cost of the repair was more than fair. After picking up the vehicle it worked flawlessly. They were very professional and courteous. I will definitely be using them again for my automotive needs.
