Went to the Living History demo to learn about 18th century Illinois. It was very informative and the people were very knowledgeable.
Great place to spend a little time, learn a little bit in the museum, enjoy nature and take some photos.
Review is for the boat launch: Plenty of parking, and short paved walkway to the river. There is a pier but I think that is more for looking out and not launching. Water level was low so bank was very muddy and rocky. There is no ADA compliant EZ dock at this launch
Great place. Staff is friendly. Small interactive museum that is entertaining for preschoolers yet informative for older childr en and adults.
