  I've been using this practice for several years; it used to be the DeGroot Foot & Ankle Clinic, but Dr. DeGroot moved out of Illinois...got tired of the high taxes and political corruption of Crook County.
  
  Whoops, did I say Crook County? The name of the county that includes Chicago is Cook County. Sorry, but it's a natural mistake.
  
  Anyway, the new doctor is Dr. Sheffey, who is a Cracker Jack Podiatrist. On a scale of 0-100, I give him a solid 120 points, 100 for knowing his business, and I threw in 20 extra points because he's a fan of one of my favorite groups, Pink Floyd.

  It's a doctor's office, so, yes, it can get busy. And sometimes, people need things explained to them, which takes some time. Visiting this practice is pleasant; everyone is very helpful, and considerate. They go out of their way to accommodate their patients, in terms of scheduling, helping with HMO regulations, forms, referrals, etc. Dr. DeGroot strikes me as someone who knows her craft very well. I'd rate the DeGroot Foot and Ankle Clinic excellent, First Rate all the way.
