I contacted her again to make cake pops and cupcakes for my brothers second birthday celebration. And once again we were in love with her treats. She was on time and worked with my hectic schedule. “Kay's Bakery is absolutely a reason to go to Somonauk. She makes everything from scratch --- you can see the kitchen in action right from the donut case! My favorites: maple bacon long johns (when I'm lucky enough to snag one), GIANT cookie dough brownies, GIANT cinnamon rolls (don't tell anyone I said they rival my mom's), and cranberry raisin power scones. We don't live anywhere near but still find excuses to 'just pass through'. You should, too.”
