I prefer customer service and the bankers knowing me over the more modern, online only, tech savvy banking my kids do. 1st Midwest may offer the more modern approach but I am happy with going to the bank and I’ve never been disappointed w service there. Then a "Donna" in the domestic disputes department with her uncaring attitude and nonchalant behavior, 🙄 I was going to just delete everything for this account. But, when I saw they reversed the overdraft fee, I did calm down a bit more. There are some good and definitely a lot of bad.”

“I love Woodforest Bank! They have a second change banking account to restore your banking history if you’ve had discrepancies in the past. It’s basically for people who are denied an opportunity to open an account elsewhere due to prior bank accounts that may be delinquent and closed . They also have an awesome loan system for people who bank with them where you can withdraw up to 500 and set up a payback schedule and pay every month until you owe nothing! It’s considered a separate account & it’s super awesome if you’re short on cash and don’t want to have a negative balance . They do charge a small monthly fee if you have less than 100 in your account per month or don’t have a direct deposit set up. Otherwise , awesome employees and awesome bank !”
