My kids truly enjoy going to school which is a testament to how Christa McAuliffe makes learning enjoyable. The only thing I am not keen on is the timed math which I think causes anxiety but not all teachers do it.”

“Thom Kapheim is an uncommonly gifted artist. His studio is a comfortable gallery in which one can view and acquire a wide variety of Thom’s original works in varied media. He often has printed works and collections of printed works available as well. I recommend calling ahead in order to determine that the studio/gallery will be open when you arrive. A visit will NOT disappoint you. Thom’s artwork is quite extraordinary.”

My daughter loves all the teachers there and they knew I was very nervous living her they made it really easy for me. They send you updates on your child’s day picture,messages. “This is my daughter's first dance class, and she absolutely adores "Miss Chrissy". We signed up for 2 days a week this summer, and it has been great for her. I was nervous that she wouldn't follow directions, or would not participate, but Chrissy is wonderful with her. My daughter has a little bit of a speech and developmental delay, but Chrissy seems to know exactly how to get my daughter (who will be 4 in October) to listen, follow the steps, and have SO much fun. Every time it's time to go to class, she will run around saying "TIME TO DANCE!!! LET'S GO!!!! Let's go see Miss Chrissy, mom!" The only bad thing is how much my daughter cries when it's time to leave. Last week, she sobbed the whole way home, saying "I just want to DANCE!!!". So we have been very happy with Elite Feet and with "Miss Chrissy", and plan to continue with lessons after the summer. I highly recommend this studio to anyone looking for a great dance class. Hey, I might even try out one of their adult classes!”

“Best High School in IL !!! My daughter had the best academic instruction and many advancement opportunities. Sports, orchestra, theater, clubs, charity events, and many more, all highly rated. There was a ton of social activities my daughter participated in - good for the resume. There was no bulling in first year of school. Great teachers (most of them). Intelligent kids. Very large school - 4K students. Superior college prep., so my daughter did not have problems in the first year of college at all. It's absolutely worth it, to pay high property taxes to be in Stevenson High School district. UPDATE: I recently signed up for Spanish classes myself, as part of PREP for adults at Stevenson, and enjoy it very much.”
