Very helpful on parts and technical information. I have one of their 383 LS1 corvette builds and like the car as well.
Great site to look at for high performance upgrades, tuning, ect.
My plan is to eventually get the 2015 Chevy Camaro Z/28, find a few up for sale still 😉 but I will have lingenfelter do all the upgrades, supercharged, and get that old LS7 down the road at over 1,000hp and over 1,100 torque, nice 😉
I just want to say up front that I am very pleased with the quality of work the guys at Lingenfelter performed on my 2017 Camaro. I bought their 378 cid naturally aspirated package and added on a bunch of other parts including headers, exhaust, intake manifold, and throttle body. Shawn ordered the extra parts to the exact specs I wanted (I did my research) and was a fantastic service rep. He kept me in the loop with weekly updates on where they were on rebuilding the engine. There was a hiccup when they went to test and calibrate the engine, when the cam phaser failed and caused a valve to smack a piston after a misfire. They had never seen this particular kind of failure before. They took the engine back out, and completely rebuilt it with new rings, bearings, pushrods and some other minor parts completely gratis, as it failed during calibration. I was blown away by the response, there was no hemming or hawing, just; "It failed while we were testing, we'll fix it." This meant that it took an extra month to complete, what with the coronavirus, and the fact that they got REALLY busy as soon as the virus hit. Once again though, Shawn kept me in the loop and it was worth every week of waiting and every penny I put into it. A special thanks to Chris, who took his time off after work and custom fabricated a mounting bracket so I could use an A-10C flight stick as a shift knob. He really went above and beyond. I would trust my car to these guys any time. Now I am the proud owner of a 640 crank horsepower naturally aspirated monster that sounds like a million bucks, and can really lay the rubber down. The team still holds true to John Lingenfelter's legacy. If you want quality work, you are going to have to spend some cash, and be patient, but the results are more than worth it.
Did a fantastic job on my 08 Corvette engine. Engine is solid. I bought it with the internal overhaul package with Magnusson SuperCharger. The owner of the local shop in Phoenix, Michael Kelly at Loper’s, asked me, Has that engine been pulled? Doesn’t look like it was.
