She never makes you feel like you are being forced to do what she says just because she's a doctor. Knowing that I preferred natural remedies pharmaceuticals, she always gave them as a starting point alongside medications, and gave me straight answers on sideeffects and pro vs cons. Though I was scheduled for a repeat csection, I ended up with an emergency C-section that was literally life or death for my child and myself, and Dr Burch made it to the hospital across town in time to assist. She said after and explained everything that was/had happened and even went out of her way that evening to not only check on myself and mychild (who was in NICU), but to also get answers for what happened. Then came to my room in person the next morning to round on me herself & check in on my child again-- even though someone from her practice was rounding for her that morning and she had patients to see at her office when it opened. I could not have asked for a better OB through my pregnancy & definitely not through the tramatic way it ended. A doctor like her is very rare in today's world, and even rarer that she is so young!”
