“I would give them 100 stars if I could. I arrived at their shop a little past 6:00 pm on a Friday and the door said they close at 6. I had just found that I had a nail in my right passenger tire and needed it fixed urgently. I was treated with much respect and they immediately fixed the tire at no charge. The relief I felt at their kindness for helping me was overwhelming and I can’t thank them enough. It’s the small things in this world today that mean so much. “I wanted to take the time to share my experience at the Advanced Auto Parts off of Lima Road in Fort Wayne. I was experiencing issues with my tail and brake lights. My sister and I had tried to determine if it was a blown fuse. I called prior to going in to the store and spoke with Josh. He asked me a few questions and said to bring it in and he’d take a look at it. Upon arriving at the store, I was greeted by the same guy Josh that I spoke with over the phone. He was helpful, took the time and explained the process, very thorough, and checked all of my fuses. He explained it could be a few other things and he discovered both of my bulbs were broken and I had condensation in my tail lights. He sold me fuses as I had blown one spare fuse; two new bulbs; silicone; and grease. All in all it cost me $23 or something like that. He replaced my fuse; took his time explaining; and we ended up ordering another part I needed as well. I will be back and I would highly recommend this store. Josh was thorough, took pride in his work, explained everything in detail, and I’m a forced customer of his store now. Went above and beyond in my opinion!”

“This is the greatest car repair shop I have ever frequented - my uncle who I love dearly owned a car repair shop for a decade before becoming an instructor at the local university and I STILL would prefer Ruckmans. The staff are beyond courteous and accommodating. They never do anything to your vehicle without talking to you first and I promise that on my second visit here they already knew my name, my husbands name, and what the gender of our first born (5 years later) would be... they are just amazing. I can't possibly say enough nice things about them. Oh! And everything they do is extremely reasonable.”

“This is a very late review (like over a year ago) but better late than never. I was passing through Fort Wayne on a Friday afternoon when my truck shut down on the side of the road. I got hold of Phil around 5 pm on his way out for the night. He gave me instructions so I could at least get my truck towed to his secure fenced storage for the night and said he would have a look at it on Saturday morning. I've broken down far away from home a few times in my line of work and it always seems like it takes a few days to get a diagnosis then a few more to days to get parts and then more days to repair before getting hit with a several thousand dollar repair bill. Well thinking the worst I wasn't going to throw money at hotel rooms so I rented a car and after the truck was safe and secure in Phil's lot I took off and headed home to Minneapolis. I drove all night and crawled in my bed at 9 a.m. Saturday morning. At 10 a.m. the phone rings and it's Phil telling me my truck was done! It was a loose battery cable! Ughhh! Just my luck. Phil and his brother are the epitome of great customer service. I highly recommend!”

“This was a Saturday morning emergency. We called up Werner even though he was closed today. He came recommended by the local Volkswagen dealership. He turned out to be the only guy available to help us in all of Indiana. He graciously went out of his way on the weekend to help us. He trouble shot our engine issue and had us back on the road in 20 minutes. Out of any mechanic experience I've ever had I can not recommend Werner enough! Excellent service!!”

“For an Applebees, this one is pretty good. The bar had a good selection of beers and the bartender was very welcoming and eager to serve. I had the grilled chicken, broccoli and garlicky green beans. The food was served very fast. They had it to me in less than 5 minutes. Overall the chicken breast was grilled well and juicy. The vegetables were cooked properly. The only knock on the place was if you are in the bar, the televisions were too far away and at awkward angles for a person dining alone and not playing on their phone.”
