The small welcome center has exhibits about the history of Goshen and of the adjacent Fidler Pond Park. Also lovely photos of the birds that frequent the park and a few woolly mammoth bones found when removing material from the gravel pit that became Fidler Pond.
love these park the best one to run fish walk camp have a nice cook out kayaking boating enjoy reading nice grass lands a beautiful back yard any one would love to have but best of all the beauty of nature..the risen of the morning sun 😍
I enjoy coming here, it’s very clean and calming walking along the path. The scenery is beautiful, as there’s a beautiful pond that sits right in the middle of the park. It also contains several seatings so you can rest or just sit back on a swing and enjoy the peaceful moment. Dogs are allowed on the property, making sure they have a leash on, this is a huge benefit for me as I love to take my fur baby on outings with me, she loves the park as well.
Awesome little area. My hubby can fish while I run around the lake. Clean, quiet and clean porta johns available. Benches and a little picnic area too. Love this place.
Nice place for a walk run or bike. 1.5 miles around the pond. Lots of geese and ducks. I've seen a bald eagle, fox and beavers also. You can walk your dog but must be on a leash.
