This was our first bed and breakfast stay. It was a wonderful quiet and peaceful experience. The breakfast was delicious, and the room was nice and quiet. It is centrally located near Middlebury and Shipshewana. The whole experience felt like a Hallmark movie. We would definitely stay again.
This was our first time at a bed and breakfast. We absolutely loved it. The place is beautiful. I felt like I was in a hallmark film. Ruth, our innkeeper, is the sweetest person. I could have talked to her for hours. The house smelled of just baked cookies. The place was so cozy. We’ve never felt so relaxed and welcomed. We stayed one night and in the morning she made us an amazing breakfast. We wished we booked another night.
This was our very first Bed & Breakfast stay. It was a wonderful experience! Ruth was a pleasure to talk to and offered local insights and history. The location was beautiful with views of the horse pastures, ponies and a golf course. It is centrally located and only 45 minutes to South Bend. The breakfasts were scrumptious and homemade. The rates were very reasonable and we will definitely be returning. We highly recommend the Meadows Inn Bed & Breakfast.
Our three day stay was excellent! Clean and tidy rooms and a welcoming and warm atmosphere. Our host Ruth, served a fantastic breakfast, every day being something different and delicious. She didn't mind us having an active toddler in our family group and made us feel relaxed and welcome. I'd highly recommend 'The Meadows'.
Ruth was a warm and friendly host. Her breakfasts, special juice drinks, and coffee were excellent and I enjoyed our conversations and the scenery of horses grazing across the road from the sun porch. I appreciated the extra touches that kept my mind and heart focused on faith, and I loved visiting with the young horses in the paddock each day, walking the grounds, and taking a short jaunt to the World's Fair Garden and the Pumpkinvine Trail. Thank you again for a lovely and comfortable stay.
