Very Nice here ..Tye gets his Medicane here and Shots next Month he also has a chip in him they suggested last year ! Would definitely recommend Durkes

Hands down, THE ABSOLUTE BEST AND ONLY PLACE to bring your fur babies. I don't leave reviews often but given the support, love, and compassion shown by both Dr. Durkes and Sue, it was a no brainer. When first moving to town, I could not find a vet that was accepting new patients. Dr. Durkes welcomed myself as well as our five dogs in with open arms. Within minutes he could diagnose whatever we had going on and always had the right remedy to cure it. Recently our 17-year old malti-poo wasn't doing too well so we had taken him to an emergency vet in Anderson, HUGE MISTAKE. After hours of "tests" and thousands of dollars, I was told that the only options I had were to put him down or send him to a specialty hospice in Ft. Wayne and was told that I would not be able to see him or take him home. After lots of tears and my husband getting involved, we were able to take him home and get him to Dr. Durkes who diagnosed him with pneumonia within minutes of hearing his heart as well as breathing. He was put on antibiotics and given some fluids, all better. Thanks Dr. Durkes and Sue, you guys are truly amazing!

I can’t say enough about Dr. Durkes and Sue. My parents took their dogs to him and I have taken my dogs and cats to him for over 30 years. I moved to Florida for 6.5 year and missed having a Dr. Durkes down there. When I moved back to Indiana even though I’m 90 mins away, I’m taking my dog and cat to them. It’s worth the drive. What cost $71 with him was almost $500 in Florida. Even my best friend switched to taking his dogs to him. Sue can answer a lot of questions and is right there to help.

Dr. Durkes is awesome! He cared enough about making my dog feel better to see him on a Saturday, being a new patient, and it wasnt an emergency either. It was nice meeting you Dr. Durkes! Thank you so much for making my little guy feel better. We will definitely be back in to see you. Hopefully for just routine stuff next time :)

Dr Durkes is a very kind and professional vet. He knows large dogs and specializes in gold bead therapy for joints which is great for Great Danes and other giant breed dogs. He is very affordable also.
