It may have been routine for them, but it seemed to me that the staff took extraordinary measures to ensure he was well attended to and that he stayed on his recovery and medication regimen, despite himself. He is now in an apartment that is near me where I can look in on him daily. He looks very fondly on the days that he spent at Meadow Brook, or in his words, "that resort hotel".
