This place is wicked cool!!! Packed a picnic lunch and my kids had a great time!!
Great trails for low impact hiking. Also great for biking, jogging, or even horseback riding. (Horses & bikes not available for rent, you have to provide your own.). There's also a nice nature center, and a small area dedicated to the history of the area, including recreations of longhouse that you can freely explore inside & out.
Watch out for horse droppings, but a good place to take a walk through nature.
This is a beautiful park that has a beautiful nature trail which is multi-use, great not only for walking/jogging but welcomes cyclists and equestrian riders. It also has a nice nature center and outdoor native American replicated exhibits. The grounds are a wonderland for butterflies, insects and wildlife.
What a cool park! The part we went to had a nature center that had so many neat artifacts, animal specimens, and other things like nests and minerals. Our girls loved exploring. There were also some simple art projects. The archiological sure was really interesting and unique. While we were there the wild flowers were abundant and we saw a lot of birds and butterflies along the path. Very nice park for families.
