I love Specks. They have all my pet food and treats. I also love the cheap and nail clipping. I was paying a Vet to clip my dogs nails every month. I found out they were not clipping all the nails. I am really pleased with Specks.

I enjoy going in with my dogs. The staff are friendly, they have a little of everything inside the store. My only complaint is they are a little pricey but it is a pet specialization store. Any specialization store is a little pricey.

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. There is always someone to greet you when you walk in the door. For the heavier items, they will always offer to carry it to your car.

I like the fact that I'm supporting a local business, not a chain. Their prices are reasonable, I appreciate that they are a local business, that they have what I need when I need it and their hours are fantastic.

They also have a loyalty program. It adds up quickly and when you reach a certain goal, a receipt is printed out right at the register. No need to log in to any account or wait for an e-mail to arrive. I am thankful that Speck's came to Plainfield.
