We are writing this letter as a personal reference for Ms. Melissa Guy. We have known Melissa her entire life as her parents. Recently we had the privilege of also using her as our realtor for our new home. The title of proud parents in this case goes above and beyond her receiving an award in school.
We had purchased homes in the past and had also had one built. None of those experiences were even remotely close to the purchase of our most recent home. Melissa has always been hard working, conscientious and reliable. This did not however prepare us to see firsthand how well she handled her responsibility as our realtor. The process of buying our home was made tremendously less stressful with her working in our behalf.
Melissa began working with a builder when she graduated from high school. The knowledge she has gained from that line of work has given her a broader ability in her capacity as a realtor. She is not only looking for a home she feels will fit your needs, but is also looking out for your best interest. She was there every step of the way to ask questions we did not even know to ask.

I have had the pleasure of working with Melissa Guy as my realtor on three occasions. She helped me and my husband buy and sell our first home and purchase our second home. We purchased both of our homes as new construction homes and she was an incredible asset to have in our corner because of her prior building experience as well as her realtor experience. She made the process so much more enjoyable because she was able to put our minds at ease handling many aspects of building a home most realtors may not even scratch the surface on. She was always well-prepared with each meeting with our builders having questions prepared and often had documentation that the builders themselves did not have prepared. She was our subject-matter-expert on everything construction and helped prevent many issues by asking questions we didn't even know to ask during the selection process. Her follow-up on loose ends for both us and the builder is amazing. She kept all parties actively engaged throughout the process and kept things from getting delayed. She was always available to us for every meeting, selection, and walk-through and kept all the notes to follow-up with the builders on items that needed more attention or correction.

Her expertise in realty was a true benefit as well when we called for her help again to sell our first home. She first came over and assessed the value of our home in comparison to similar properties in the area that had recently sold. She walked through our home as a buyer would and gave us pointers on what we should clean up a bit to make the selling process as quick and profitable as we could without putting too much time or money into getting the home ready. She offered advice on how to stage our home to make it pleasing to a buyer. She is always available even after the sale is complete and has answered questions we have had about our mortgage. She is a true professional with the highest level of customer service we have ever experienced.
