“My honest thoughts: Sulphur Springs is a great church community to become involved with and truly understand who Jesus is and also a place to grow and mature as a Christian. The first time my wife and I came, we felt quite welcomed and included in the ministry and a place we now call family. Here are a few areas I would like to highlight. > Biblical focused teaching. > A strong staff and volunteer leadership. > A passion to shepherd and mature Christians in their faith beyond the bare minimum. > A welcoming church community. > A heart posture to serve those outside the church walls. > A strong and intentional missions focus, both local and international. > A church that appreciates humor in ministry. > Sulphur Springs is a church that is "passionately in love with Jesus Christ and wants to serve our neighbor." This is written on the website and I can share that this is something that the church does seek to live out. The staff, C.J. (Pastor), Bryan (Family Life Pastor), and Terry (Office Administrator) and also the church elders are servants of Christ in seeking to love Jesus and love others. They are people of peace that have a positive outlook on life. As such, I believe this spreads throughout the culture of Sulphur Springs Christian Church and is something that is not only grounded in God's Word, but also in His Spirit. I believe God has blessed Sulphur Springs Christian Church and I believe many in the church recognize how God is at work within the church. From this, the leadership has what I would say is a humble heart posture in seeking to be good stewards of what God has blessed them with as a church and in turn seek how to bless others with those blessings. “Great little spot after Hoosier Gym. I wish I had gotten more pictures but the food was amazing. Tons of servers, quick, and very attentive even to our family with 3 kids. Portions were good, super fresh, and some of the best vegetarian options for my wife as of yet. She said the vegetarian food was the best she has had. My Texas fajitas were amazing and very flavorful, plus not loaded with MSG so I felt fine after eating them. Falutas were amazing as well and my sons kids meals were plentiful and satisfying. We would come back anytime and I give the place a full 5 stars for sure.”
