“A nice pavilion for family reuions or company picnics. There is a small playground nearby for children and some great pieces of Kokomo history in the Sycamore Stump and Old Ben just across the drive. And just down the road is the beautiful Vermont Covered Bridge. A great place for pictures. Another great piece of Highland Park.”

“Good selection of unusual items and good deals on certain household items and snacks. Masks required and staff would call out people entering without one and either have them get one or leave. Usually a line to check out but not too bad. This time of year good for little stocking stuffers and small gifts.”

“Something for everyone! Kids have a fenced in play area, with the rubber "mulch". Much nicer. It has over a mile and a half of paved walking area, down and back. Or you can leave the asphalt behind and take to the Indian trails. The trails are a good quarter mile workout. I do NOT recommend it for anyone that can't climb a tree. Don't forget Big Ben, The Sycamore Stump, and 18 holes Frisbee Golf. The only down side is the Geese poop. So bring something to put over tables and chairs.”

“Delicious! Thin crispy crust, the pizza is loaded with toppings every time, and they have both vegan cheese and sausage available as well.”

“A nice addition to the Industrial Heritage Trail. Playground for kids and a spot to sit for mom and dad. There was an air pump for bicycles at the side of the bathrooms, but last I checked, it didn't work. And don't be here to late in the evening. I belive a few homeless people camp out here. But all and all, not a bad little park.”

“I love a good massage especially because of the profession I do daily. I have been to many other places, but Julie is by far my absolute favorite. I love all the options she provides (cupping has helped my sore muscles SO MUCH). Scheduling with her is so easy because she works around your schedule. Her pricing is completely affordable. I am so thankful that she is here in Kokomo. Thank you Julie for the work you do!”

“I was writing my last paper for the semester, and listening to what was being said around me, my heart started to slowing crack and allow emotions and the guilt I have creep out. Trying to hold back tears, I sat and listened and responded in a way a mother should. After all went to bed, I broke asking myself what I am doing wrong, am I a good mom, am I doing the right things. I decided to finally go to bed and as I laid down and closed my eyes, it clicked. A discussion I had with Kalena a few weeks ago, celebrate moments of love. Love isnt buying things and going places, love is the bear hug your son gives you out of no where that causes a tear to run down your face, love is the text message from your daughter thanking you and telling her momma she loves her. Love is your husband telling you he is proud of you after having a long day at work, going to class and then coming home and spending hours on homework. Love is your husband encouraging you to keep going becasue the end is near. Love is the spontaneous phone calls from your kids just to chat. Love is being there to pick them up no matter how old they are. Love is listening to them talk about life with the other parent. I would of never been able to say that and feel that with out opening up weeks ago with Kalena. As Brett Young says it in Chapters, these are the chapters in our life. That every lesson learned is a chapter in our lives. In the last five years, I have learned to love, learned to forgive, and learned to slowly close those chapters in order to start writing new ones. There is no perfection, perfection is what we deem fit for ourselves and our family.”
