Buck Stop

I live a few miles from the buck stop, but typically hunt at a friend’s house three hours down south so Ive always just had my deer processed down there. Then this year my regular place was full so I decided to take the doe I got on the last day of rifle season to the buck stop. I won’t ever take my deer to another location now.

Firstly, the staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. Second, the turn around was quick and the communication with pricing (not to mention their pricing being the lowest out of about six places I considered going to) and pickup times was clear and smooth. Thirdly, the meat is very well packaged. Knowing that blood won’t run everywhere and dirty up my fridge when I’m defrosting my meat is a huge plus.

Lastly, I am convinced that the buck stop gives you the most amount of meat from your deer possible. I shot two does this year that were nearly the same size (seven lbs difference) but I got back 18 more lbs of processed meat from the doe that the buck stop processed. I was so surprised to see so much meat when I picked my deer up. Thank you so much buck stop!!

As a Taxidermist I really appreciate this business!! I just received a deer that was caped out at their facility, and the hair was dry! And the cuts were all made correctly! You can tell they care about their work!
