The Olive Branch

Our family has enjoyed shopping at the Olive Branch over the last few years since moving to the area. It is so nice to have something like this in Northeast Indiana.

It is great to sample their offerings, but honestly no sample is necessary because you can't go wrong. We have used both their balsamic infusions and olive oils in our own kitchen but also love giving them as gifts. One of the things we like is that they offer the smaller bottles which are perfect to introduce others to what they are missing. Then when you find one you like you can buy a big bottle and enjoy it.

On one occasion I had a slight payment issue where a credit was not properly applied. The store owners called me back on the same day and apologized and made the situation right.

You don't realize how much the offerings at the Olive Branch will change the quality of your dish until you start to experiment. Take my advice and find one or two that you love and it will change your life in the kitchen.

Amazing experience with the shop owner!!!! Highly recommend asking for her suggestions, because she has a talent with flavors. She paired the blood orange vinaigrette with the pumpkin spice olive oil and it was to die for. The curry olive oil was also a big hit. Great shop and great selection.

Great place to find local, great tasting olive oils and accessories.
They allow you to taste before buying.
One of my favorites are the Italian centered, or garlic flavored oils.
But the citrus-y oils taste phenomenal and I will likely be getting one next time I make a purchase at this store.

First off, it smells awesome in here! The selection of olive oils and vinegars is impressive! There are some that are truly unique, like olive oil with Herbs de Provence. We took some aged balsamic vinegar home. Can't wait to try it out!

Great selection of flavors of oils and vinegars to taste (almost all that they offer) and good discussion of properties and origins. Only negative note was a flavor that we used to get (violet) was no longer available from their distributor, for some reason, but they were going to check on it.
