  My favorite place to stroll and just get out. Don't recommend evenings but daytime is great!

  Lifeguards come out to talk to your young people to let them know what they expect in the way of them obeying to be safe. I like that. Playground, sitting areas, bar b que areas, eat shop, canoeing on some days. BEAUTIFUL BEACH, CLEAN' Running water toilets and dry toilets. Power for your phones. Parking is cheap or free. Private party areas. Bike and walking trails. Name it for outdoor exercising fun, young and old. woods and green spaces. This is a safe nice park. Police is visible and emergency phones visible. Oh, one lifeguard up and others down to respond quickly. Wedding, event or party pavilions (2). One small one large but the scenery is picture taking perfect. I walk it every day.

  Marquette Park is a very nice place for jogging, walking, sightseeing, picnicking, or bike riding. I exercise there whenever the weather is nice, especially today, Tuesday, February 14, 2017, (????Happy ???? Valentines day????) when the temps got up to about 54 marvelous degrees. Walked down to Lake street Beach also where you can see the skyline of Chicago????. I love the scenery along the Lagoon where there are some really lovely homes as well. Just recently had brunch at Red Lobster so I had to walk some of those extra added lbs off, Lol! ????

  This park is stunning and so peaceful and serene. The forest preserve is just beautiful. There was literally no one else there the day I went so my hubs and I had the place to ourselves, simply perfection.
