Needs to be dredged out. Way to shallow even tho the rivers way down. They need to get rid of a few sand bars.
Awsome pace
A beautiful, little gem tucked away on Stateline Rd. (18000E), bordering Illinois and Indiana. This little spot, having the name of "Stateline" or "Stateline Bridge", provides a little fishing spot where the Kankakee River flows through, as well as boating. The Stateline Bridge, though it's blocked off, is just a few feet away from this fishing nook and offers a beautiful view and even more opportunity to fish. If you follow the trail off of the bridge, you'll see what remains of Stateline Rd, while also being treated to more photographic opportunities. And, if you were to follow all the way to the end where Rt. 114 and 18000E meet, you'd find yourself at a little bar, which has coined the nickname "Stateline Bar". This area is important to both Illinois and Indiana and should be visited more often. I highly recommend this little blessing.
