“We love this park. If you like gulf? Please come here and enjoy it. If you like to have a outdoor wedding? They have a place for it. There is a park especially for your cute dogs. There is a place for kids to play as well a place where your kids can enjoy a splash pad. You love long walks, ridding your bike or just jogging? This is the place to come. You like to workout? There are exercise equipment that you can use. I live two blocks away from the park and i been a resident for 17 years now.”

“Parking is limited after dusk. Nice facility. Come prepared as there are no concessions. Plenty of bleacher and behind home plate there are seats with backs. Not a lot of great spots for lawn chairs. Update: concessions have been available occassionally. Simple offerings for reasonable prices.”

“Attended a family reunion dinner at the park. Whether your event is formal or casual Lake Etta has a lot to offer. The food served in the dining hall was well prepared. I had lemon talapia which was exceptional. You can picnic and fish on the grounds. There is also a children's playground on site. Parking is paid.”

“Hammond has been making some huge improvements in the last few years. Dowling park is fitted with a couple trails with different lengths depending on how much walking/biking you want to do. There is pond where you can fish or just watch the birds fly on and off. The playground for kids (ages 5 and up) is perfect to help your child work their coordination while also having fun. The playground is also fitted with a rubber-like floor while provides ultimate comfort for your child while they're playing. There is a dog park located about 100 feet from the playground. It's fenced in and gives dogs the option to run around or to climb/jump through a couple different obstacles.8/10”
