It is a nice park with a good walking loop. The down side is that because it is so close to the interstate it is very loud.
Greta place for a lunch break or walking your fur friends!
Great place to take the kids. Experience nature, run, play. There is an old bridge with train tracks on it that the kids really liked & we took a lot of pictures!
I've already posted a bunch of pictures of this park so no more right now ;) This is one of my favorite parks in Indy. Aside from Eagle Creek, it has a great variety of bird species. It is perfect for running because it has a fine gravel path that's 2.5 K all the way around, so 2 laps makes about 3 miles. I've seen several community volunteers tending to it frequently. And It was just given a 1st place national award for multi neighborhood restoration project. Only negative is the roaring of the interstate. I'm hoping when the newly planted trees grow up, it will deaden some of the sound.
It kinda has a marsh, low wet land look to it which is unique for Indy. Great place for an easy walk. The highway is a bit distracting but overall it's a pretty peaceful place. The artwork that sands throughout the park is really cool. A lot of pieces that are fun to take picture with.
