“My fiancé and I moved into Gardens of Canal Court last March and were so excited. The apartment is the perfect apartment for Indy living if you are looking for PRIME location by the canal and a great price for the amount of square footage you get. The apartment is huge compared to many others we toured downtown...and was $300 less than the rent of those apartments. The convenience of having the canal right out your door was amazing for runs, walks and even relaxing with a blanket and a book on the open grass nearby! Overall the individuals I talked to at the leasing office were wonderful to work with, the only thing I would say is the maintenance can take awhile if you don't follow-up. If you do follow-up they will come and help you. I was so pleased with everything from this apartment and will never forget the first place we lived! :)”

“Courses is not your run of the mill restaurant, it's student run which makes it exceptionally unique. The restaurant sits high up in the sky on the 13th floor or penthouse of the old Stouffer Hotel, now the home of Ivy Tech Community College. Here fine dining is met by college courses for their hospitality department. Classical cuisine/international cuisine courses create the food led by an instructor, a customer service class takes care of front of house needs, while a beverage management programs gives students behind the bar table & cocktail creation experience. The atmosphere is gorgeous. Not to mention the breathtaking view of downtown Indianapolis. The prices are great, too - $25 in the evening for three courses. It is always fun engaging with the students as well. The hours are limited as they run around class times, but a night out worth having. Put it on your to-do list. I'll be back again!!”

“Yesterday, July 27, 2016, I was driving from Lafayette to Cincinnati, Ohio when shortly after leaving Interest 865 on to Interstate 465 at about 10:00 am my rear tire blew-out while traveling at a high rate of speed. I was able to slow down and move to the shoulder of the highway. I called 911 for help. The responding State Trooper arrived, we talked asked what I wanted him to do since I had called AAA. I wanted him to keep us safe on the side of the road, that the high speed of traffic made me frightened. He moved his car to protect us and waited until AAA would arrive. When I received word from AAA that it would be another 55 minutes, he asked if I knew how to change a tire, I said yes but had not changed one in a man years. He then proceeded to change my tire which had been shredded, jacked up the car, put on my emergency tire and said to get it fixed as it was good for only 50 miles. I thanked him, got in to start the car and it needed a jump by this time. He again got out of his car and proceeded to start my car. Again I thanked him, he gave me directions to find service and followed me to the exit ramp. He saw that I was going to turn the wrong direction, put on his lights and indicated which way to turn. This young man was very courteous, he gave me his card but I lost it. It was a very nerve racking day for me and my passenger and we want him to know that he saved our day for us. “I was referred to go there by a friend who said I needed tires and that they have good used tires at a decent price. All the guys there were really nice and helpful. The owner was even honest enough to tell me that my tires were still good for a while and that I should wait another year or so before replacing them. So I had them take a nail out of one of my tires and fixed it for a very reasonable price. Will be going back next week for a tire rotation (since I got there a little before closing). I definitely recommend going there, since it seems hard to find honest reasonably priced mechanics these days.”

“My wife and I lived here for about 3 years, and enjoyed every minute. This is a great location in the downtown Indy area, with great views down Virginia Avenue and right next to the redline. We also appreciated the free public parking nearby along with the parking lots behind the apartment building. They do not charge for parking, which is definitely an excellent perk. You are walking distance to nearly everything you could need, including restaurants, breweries, local groceries and meat markets, and New Day! The apartments have large kitchens and excellent designs. Also, whenever we had a maintenance issue, the staff was responsive and courteous.”
