However, her strong suit and most adventitious skill was in presenting and reviewing with the judge the state/department of corrections own risk review tool. She demonstrated the pros to the doc, the community, and the defendants of limited incarceration and enhanced home monitoring. Without the use of the DOCs own tools, the sentencing would have been years, nearly a decade. Mrs. Maryan successfully reduced that to home incarceration where the defendant could, in fact, continue to be a productive member of society, and his children would not have to depend on the state for support. I would recommend her to anyone in any situation.”
