  Recently drove 3 hours from Southern Indiana to visit Perani's hockey world. The manager Joey is an asset to the Perani's Hockey World company. His knowledge and customer support was great. He patiently answered every question my 16 year old had about skate fit, features, and quality differences. In the end I paid more than I expected to walking in the door due to his expertise and finding the right skates for my sons game. The overall store was clean and running like a well oiled machine despite a local hockey tournament bringing over 20 teams to the Indy area. I highly recommend Perani's Hockey World in Indianapolis for your next hockey purchase.

  The guy that helped me was Joe. He did BY FAR the best sharpening I've had on my goalie skates. And I am VERY picky about this, and he nailed it! But this place is SO much more than that. It has EVERYTHING you may need to get in the game. When my son played a tournament, he needed a replacement blade for his skate FAST. And Joe delivered. He was back on the ice, and I was one very happy hockey parent. Highly recommend!

  When I walked I was promptly greeted and asked what I needed assistance with. I told them I needed my skates sharpened. Joey walked me back to the sharpening area and on the way we discussed different cut depths and the affect they would have. He then sharpened my skates. Upon completion he noted that my outside edge was gone on one skate and the inside edge on my opposite skate was gone. This was a helpful tip regarding a potential imbalance in stride or stopping. I will definitely go back in the future.

  I was greeted in a polite and pleasant right away when I walked in. Joey asked what brought me in, and I let him know I wanted to try on skates and possibly look for a new stick. Cole walked me back to the skate section, was extremely helpful with letting me try on different skates, and answering questions I had about them. Then as I was looking through sticks Joey approached me, and asked what specifications I liked in my stick. He gave me some great recommendations, and I left out of there in a better spot that I had come in. Really appreciate going the extra mile especially when they were helping multiple other customers.

  I've visited this location multiple times and probably rated them already, but I can't say enough how much I appreciate the helpful staff. They're hockey people who know their stuff and make sure you end up with the equipment you need. Today I bought skates and a new stick, came out under budget and cheaper than it would have been to buy the same stuff online. Keep it up!
