This is THE best bread for anyone who is limiting gluten, dairy, soy, corn, etc. intake! The natural, organic, limited ingredients, all mixed together with love and respect are top notch. I literally live 1,000 miles away from Native Bread now and whenever I'm in town, buy loads of loaves to take home, freeze and keep until I can get my hands on more. The new additions, especially the rye are simply delightful. Well done, Native Bread! Thank you for what you provide and how you provide it!
Can't believe it took me this long to leave a review. Native Bread has been a life saver. All of their products are amazing, and I'm still impressed every time I have them! Before the store opened and I didn't live close to another market that carried the loaves, I used to go out to eat at restaurants that use Native just so I could have it. Now, I live close to the storefront and keep the honey oat and seeded boule stocked in my freezer at all times. Seriously, if you live in Indy and have a gluten-free diet, you need to be buying this bread regularly.
It's amazing Brad that I can actually eat. It's gluten-free, it's egg free. It's free of several other allergens. ?
This bread is excellent by every standard. You would never imagine it is completely allergen friendly! The baker was kind and appreciative. I would have paid double for the quality
I first tried Native bread at a restaurant while in Indy for a work trip, and after thinking about it for three months finally made the 2-hour drive back to stock up. I called ahead to see what was in stock, but it turned out the shop wasn’t open to customers that Thursday. The very kind woman who answered the phone generously offered to stick around for the two hours it would take me to get there, and pulled some loaves from the freezer for me. I am so thrilled to have bread that’s not only free of the allergens I avoid, but absolutely delicious by any standard. Would not hesitate to make the 4 hour round trip again to stock up!
