(January 27, 2019, 7:43 pm)I'm so thankful for a local place to go to learn and practice. There are so many great reasons to love this place and Jim. He listens to his students and tailors classes to fit our needs and questions. He is so patient and helpful no matter how many questions and times I've bothered him for help. He gives great advice that I trust because of his many years of experience in the business and humble attitude. His classes aren't a way to show off his own talent or brag about his career; he is humble and cares about his student's success. I think my favorite thing about his classes is that he not only helps you with nailing on-screen acting, but he really helps you understand the business side and how to package yourself as a professional actor. Without his self-tape class, I would still be making a fool of myself to casting directors because most classes don't teach you how to handle the business side of show business. Since coming to the Indy Actors Academy I'm consistently getting booked, I'm more confident when I submit and go to auditions and on camera. So side bonus things I really appreciate is that he points out things in your acting that may look odd on camera that you don't realize and that he is also cost conscious of actors. His classes are affordable and he'll let you his money saving tips when it comes to this expensive business! Thanks, Jim!

I took some elements that I learned the first day to an audition and booked the part. It’s affordable, personable, and a great time. Highly recommend Indy Actors Academy

(January 23, 2019, 5:56 pm)Jim is the only acting coach I trust in my region to deliver relevant, informative, and legitimate insight into the film industry. His experience speaks for itself and he is a working professional. Not only do we explore acting techniques and exercises, but we discuss successful audition tips, industry trends, and practical things in regards to how to move for camera among other things. I cannot recommend him enough to newbies or seasoned pros alike.
