“Loren Wood Builders recently completed a fairly large renovation and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out. From the beginning, Loren was very responsive, open, and helpful. As we started in on the project it quickly became evident that the people at Loren Wood Builders are something special. Every single person we worked with, from the project manager, to the carpenters, to the painters, and the electricians were polite, helpful, and committed to doing the job right. For the things that Loren's crew doesn't do in-house, he's clearly selected subcontractors that share his focus on quality and customer service. On a big project there will always be small mistakes or unexpected challenges. The way a contractor deals with those challenges says a lot about them and Loren's team sets the bar high. Without fail, the message we received when we raised a worry or issue was not to stress about it and that they would make it right - which they did. At the end of the project Loren walked through for a final inspection and found a handful of small things that weren't done to his satisfaction. They were minor things I might not even have noticed but Loren quickly had someone out to get them fixed. His and his team's commitment to quality is evident. Working with Loren Wood Builders was the right decision for us. Our house looks great, the experience was good, and we met some really cool, fun people along the way.”

“For the most part I agree with Eric Baker. I too am a beer and wine guy. I think Butler really only produces wine but the staff are very knowledgeable. They have a handful of micro-brew supplies too. I usually go and pay for the tastings or a drink. I've heard the owners and a few other people originally worked alongside Oliver winery. It's nice to see Indiana opening up to wineries over the years, it's certainly a nice change of pace from the plethora of microbreweries in town.”

“We found this company online. We needed large house numbers cut into a metal plate. The company was not the cheapest, but had the 10" x 20" sign we were looking for. The product came on time and was well done. I was specifically impressed that the person who made the item signed it on the back. He/she also included a couple of pieces of candy and a note apparently from the company dog. It was quite funny and unexpected. Nice touch and bottom line, we liked the item.”

“We bought our first porch swing from Medford Swings in 1986. Bought our second swing in 2012. Both made of oak. We got the high back which makes swinging more comfortable because you can lay your head back. I just sold our old (36 year old) porch swing which was still good and sturdy but needed refinished or painted. We also added the spring hangers to the top of chains which also made it very comfortable.”
