Nice for lunch or evening coffee or just lounging in the shade

They replaced some of the playground equipment this year. However, the playground still leaves a lot to be desired. This is the main park in Ellettsville, and it could use a lot more equipment and attention. I’m really disappointed in the disparity I’ve seen in quality and quantity between the Bloomington City Parks and the Monroe County Parks. That being said, the Ellettsville community makes the most of this park. There are many great community events here. That says a lot about Ellettsville and the people who live there to me.

Big shelter houses that are able to be reserved through the Ellettsville town council. Playground area is great for younger kids as it is quite small. Then Jack's Defeat Creek runs through it. Isn't often busy unless there is the Fall Festival or a baseball game.
