There is nothing wrong with bringing your dog to the workplace, especially service/therapy dogs, since by state law, they are allowed to be with their owners. Depression in the elderly population is extremely high and it is proven by science that animals (dogs/cats) help reduce depression and provides a sense of companionship among the elderly. So props to this nurse for bringing joy to her residents by bringing her comfort dog. And props to the rest of the staff: nurses, CNA’s, Activities, dietary, and housekeeping for providing care and compassion to the residents.
(January 15, 2018, 9:26 am)I would highly recommend this place to anyone trying to find the right care for their loved ones!! Aperion Care in Valpo has given great care to my father. I am very satisfied with the staff there. They are very caring and amazing with all of the residents. The new director is absolutely incredible! I've never had any problems with him. I am thankful for the staff for giving my Father the care he needs. Thank you Aperion Care for everything you've done to help my dad.
