Valpo Observatory Open House Come and enjoy views of the moon, planets, star clusters, and galaxies. The observatory has several free opportunities for the public to observe using both Valpo's telescope and the remotely-controlled telescope of the Southeastern Association for Research in Astronomy (SARA).

On clear nights, the open house takes place at the Valpo observatory. Valpo's telescope and the remotely-operated SARA telescopes are utilized.
