Wheelock Lake Campground

I absolutely love this place and have been welcomed with opened arms.... It's very laid back family friendly faces, the staff here is simply the most up respect and understanding of my loud and obnoxious 3 boys all under the ages of 7 yo. Lol!!! Everyone is just so kind especially Nancy.

Despite what others say, I absolutely love this campground! As a single woman, I was so tired of hopping from campground to campground, setting up and tearing down every other weekend. I wanted a nice place where I could leave my camper year round. It’s so great to come out here and have everything ready when I arrive! (I actually had a deck attached to my camper!) The new owner has made a load of upgrades and is in the process of many more! There is now a bath house for tent campers and they are working on a laundry facility for everyone. There are amazing people who stay year round and I’ve made many friends. Your camping spot, no matter where you go, is what you make of it and I love mine!
