Scottsburg Raintree Lake KOA (formally Camp Raintree Lake)

My husband and I live in our camper full time while he travels for work. Marni and her husband have been a pleasure to work with to accommodate us, always extremely nice, and helpful. The campground is extremely nice, maintained, and clean. The washer and dryer room is so nice to have access to and there is a beautiful pool. Their son Grant also owns a small business with RV repair and cleaning at the campground. He washed our roof and exterior of our camper and exceeded all expectations. If you ever find yourself in southern Indiana I would definitely recommend staying here and even having Grant wash your camper.

Stayed for just a night while heading south but this is a very clean park. Easy access from the highway, large dog park. There's golf and a fishing pond also. The best part, the new owners are exceptionally nice and helpful! Definitely worth the stop, we'll be back.

Though Scottsburg Raintree Lake KOA is not 'officially' KOA yet - it is through the KOA sight that we found it. So glad it came up! As part of our journey to South Bend Indiana we stayed one nite on the way up and one nite on the way back. KOA Scottsburg Raintree Lake did NOT disappoint. First of all, we booked two sites for our Class A campers as we were traveling with family. Mark, the owner placed us in a buddy site, which was excellent. His and Marnie's communication and professionalism were beyond pleasant and professional, which great customer service these days is a dying art. Though there are seasonal campers living within the campground, the property is kept excellent & super clean! As Mark and Marnie continue to develop this campsite in excellence, we know that as campers we will probably have to book earlier, as I'm sure come next spring I'm confident it will be continually, fully booked! We will be back and we left feeling as if we've known the owners for a long time. Thank you SO much Mark & Marnie for sharing your beautiful campground, your amazing hearts and investment to all! We couldn’t have had a better night rest! We called same day and Marney and Mark (hope I spelled these right) were able to get us in. They have made a wonder camp park into a beautiful sanctuary. Nice pool, Great Lake, dog park and more, but that’s all we could squeeze in for just one night. We will be back to stay longer to enjoy all this park has to offer. Thanks again so much. You two are awesome!

The new owners are working long hours to make this new KOA campground something special. Adding sites and amenities, this makes up for the full timers that were inherited when they purchased the park. Granted the full time sites are fixed up nicely with plants and patios. Great playground, fishing lake, fishing poles, kayaks, and free WiFi, also a brand new swimming pool. Very clean bath houses. Plenty of pull through overnight spots. Highly recommended!
