“I love love love Dr. Caudy! I live in Lawrenceburger, In. When he up and left here I simply quit going to the doctor. I am 63 years old now and have been forced to see i don't want to see. I would be happy to find a way to Shelbyville if he would be willing to see me again.”

“Has performed nerve conduction studies in both leg and arm for me at different times. Was very polite, gentle with needles unlike some I have been to in city. Was right on with his diagnosis to my surgeons”

“I parked and walked into the ER, they were not busy at all, I told the nurse of my chest pains, and they immediately got me into a room and in a bed, asked me about my pain, medical history, meds I am on, etc, and basic admittance questions, took samples of my blood, hooked me up to an IV, wires placed all over my body, EKG, they did an in bed X-Ray, and rolled my bed into another room and took, I believe it's called a cat scan, of my chest and stomach area. They also gave me a shot of, I think they said morphine, to help with my pain, and being new to hospitals and powerful meds, this was a great pain reducer, haha! I felt it run thru my IV into my arm making it tingle and feel warm, then 1 second later, boom! My entire body was tingling and feeling warm. Wow, I had no idea medicine could zip thru a persons entire body in less than 2 seconds. I instantly started feeling less pain, after the past 12 hours of suffering. So this was great. There were several nurses busily buzzing around me non-stop running all the test they could very quickly. So the doctor could analyze the results and diagnose me. The doctor had also stopped in briefly to speak to me. The entire staff made me feel comfortable, answered any questions I had, and did their jobs in an excellent and rapid way. I felt like I was going to be okay with all of them working on me. They treated me very nicely, with dignity, and like I was a human being. After all the tests came back the doctor came in and told me I had gallstones flaring up inside my gallbladder and needed to have surgery in the next couple weeks to have my gallbladder removed, so the stones won't make their way into other parts of my body and cause much more excruciating pain, and be harder to retrieve and require instant surgery to remedy the situation. So after all of this about 5 hours had passed and it was now about 10 am. To be released I needed someone to come to the hospital to get me since they did not want me driving for a few more hours. So my mother and brother came and we all left together. This was a bit of a nerve racking ordeal, a bit scary, as I did not know what was wrong with me. So all worked out fine, I had my surgery and gallbladder removed soon afterwards, and the pain has not returned. The actions of the entire staff of the hospital were great, and if I ever need to go to the ER again (this was my first visit to an ER for myself), I would be happy to go to Major Hospital in Shelbyville. Some people call these small town hospitals band aide stations, but for me on that night, they did everything I think a large big city hospital would have done. And the small town staff were very professional and nice the entire time. I hope I never have to go back, but I know I will be in good hands if I do, haha.”
