Love their food! My favorites are omlets, bread pudding and burgers but everything else is tasty too. Great service and very clean.
Loved this place. The food and atmosphere were amazing. Wonderful people work there.
Owner was very pleasant and came out to talk to us and ask us how everything was and how we found them. The stuffed burger was delicious and the onion rings were as well. The waitress brought us some fried cinnamon sugar bread to eat while we waited and it was a treat. Food was great and prices were low!
Went there for lunch and it was outstanding. Couldn't believe how attractive this little diner was in a small town. Food was outstanding especially the green beans. The best I've ever had! Service was really good. Will come back when we are in the area. Always enjoy trying local restaurants. Great job!
We visited this morning for the second time. Last time was lunch and I very much enjoyed the Breakfast Soup! So much that I asked if it was available for breakfast. Our waitress said she would ask for me. Although she was asked by the kitchen to tell us it is not available until 10:30, they made me a cup anyway. Great service!! So there was a cup of that wonderful soup right next to a nicely crispy order of hash browns on my plate. Of course after some scrutiny, the soup had to be poured on top of the hash browns for such a perfect marriage I think it is menu-worthy. It is at least on MY future menu, if only at lunch.
Our new favorite place. Thanks Trish!!!
Nestled within the Historic District, Trish's Red Bird Cafe can be found in a building rich in history! Originally home to the first Gas Station in our quaint little community. Following that, the building was home to Dayton's original Fire Station until they outgrew the location.
