“I began seeing Dr.Bigler three months ago, after 8 years with different pain doctors in the same office. My previous doctor never explained my MRI, or told me exactly what was wrong with my spine. However, she did max out my injections. SI injections helped the first 3 times they were done, then stopped. She still insisted on doing them. I had blocks done, several cortisone injections, so many needles that I cannot recall all of them, I was doing physical therapy as well. Also, she would not raise or change the medication I had been on for 10 years. Finally, when I could no longer run around and play with my daughter or go to the gym, (which I had been doing 5-7 days a week) and all hope was lost. I began seeing a chiropractor and opted for the spinal cord stimulator, which both had always been my last resort because I was so afraid of them. The chiropractor helped at first, then the pain became worse. The SCS was even worse! Huge fail! When my previous doctor had nothing else she could milk my insurance for, she didn’t care about me at all. No change in meds, no other alternative treatment suggestions... nothing. Almost like I was wasting her time. Then a friend of mine asked if the doctor had ever sent me to see a Spine specialist. No she never had. I went to see Dr. Brkaric and after X-rays and MRI’s, Found out that I have several crushed vertebrae, bulging discs, torn disks that the fluid is leaking from, both in my lower back and neck. My spine also curves and twists in my lower back. After 10 years, I finally had answers! Dr.Brkaric sent me to Dr.Bigler. Dr.B had me back to my routine in no time, I feel like he genuinely cares about my quality of life. He takes the time to listen and answer all of my questions, I’m not treated like a patient or a piggy bank. He treats me as a person, a person who he took an oath to help, and he does! I would recommend Dr.B to anyone with chronic pain!”
