Old Mill Canoe Rental - Blue River (OMCR)

Very nice place, good attention from the host. They have all the security measures for your protection. We will repeat the visit! I recommend it!

We had a great time with this group. We did sit in kayaks and for rentals, they were in surprisingly good shape. Name brand as well.

Everyone did a good job making us feel welcome, but I will tell you, I was absolutely impressed with the younger employees. They were super respectful and very helpful in everything we did. My 20 year old even noticed that about them. That's how you know it's noticeable, when another young person feels it from another peer.

We will definitely be back...only this time we will wait for the river to up just another couple feet. FUN, but hard work. Overall, we enjoyed this experience way more than other places we have been.

On a side note, if the ice cream truck is there, you should for sure part-take in that amazing stuff.

This is a gem. Family operated and ran. Husband and wife are both their and very friendly. Staff is friendly as well. River was low but Matt warned us! Very pretty and enjoyable, not crowded at all. Ice cream from B Brothers was great too! Home made! Good set up all around!

The owner operator of this business is a very intelligent man. He's very resourceful and actually cares about the environment that he works in. I highly recommend this for anyone who wants to just get out and do kayaking for the first time, or get in a canoe for their 50th time. It's a very pleasant three mile canoe ride down the river. And we even got a ride back. The time we called him he was there within 5 minutes that's impressive in my book.

Our group had an amazing time kayaking with Old Mill Canoe Company! The owners were extremely friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond what we were expecting! We hope to come back when the River is a bit higher and try the 12 mile run.
