“Absolutely amazing!! Dr Williams and his team were professional, caring and completely upfront and knowledgeable about my BTKR. I had been in agony for 15+ yrs with end stage osteoarthritis. My physical ability was so poor, 20 mins walking through the store was excruciating. Let alone trying to participate in any physical activities I used to enjoy was impossible. At 4 months I was able to hike in a wooded area with no marked path. At 10 months post op, I went back to a modified physically demanding job after 10 yrs. There are things, such as running that will never be possible for anyone having knee replacements. Therapy is completely a self discipline. You will work with therapists that will teach you how to thrive through recovery but you must do the work yourself. There are no shortcuts in therapy. However Dr. Williams was pleased with my recovery. My strength, mobility and ability to function came back with time but Dr Williams, and his team, were always ready with answers for whatever questions or concerns I had. The surgery itself took about an hour and a half. Although methodical and precise with doing my knee surgeries, he was very skilled in completing the operation, to me, in amazingly fast amount of time. I fully appreciated his technique and abundant experience. I have/had no reservations about his capabilities to treat, operate as my orthopedic surgeon. He has an excellent bedside manner and direct but kind in his demeanor, not cocky or dismissive. He gave me my life back!! “Being in a lot of pain & having to travel just over an hour, I was concerned about all of the poor reviews. I was afraid I'd only make my situation worse. Yet, from the phone call I made to verify urgent care hours, personnel at gate, front staff as you enter, nurse, doctor & UC staff, x-ray staff, those I dealt with in ophthalmology, travel, & pharmacy, not one person fit any of the negative feedback. I was seen in minimal time each area. Might not have been as busy as it was for those bad reviews. Doctor spent a lot of time with me & everyone was courteous, attentive, & respectful. We were there only about 3 hours for all I mentioned. My experience was 5 star.”
