“Nice theater. The time for the movie listed on website did not match the time posted at theater. Which made us miss the start of the movie. When movie ended around midnight the entire theater was closed and no employees were around. Lights were off, concessions were closed and all the exits were locked and blocked off with ropes. We had to disconnect the rope to get to the exit. Very bizarre experience.”

“I've been to better cinemas. It feels a little outdated as far as decor however I do love how spacious the actual theatre is. Overall you go there to see a movie and it does its job. Concessions are limited in the sense that you cant select your own drinks like the coke machines at most places. There is popcorn but no caramel corn like some theatres have added and candy. I cant remember if they sold food like nachos, chicken strips etc. Most importantly the customer service was great.”

You don't feel like you're being sandwiched in between other audience members. Would have given 5 stars but the people to my right were talking through the ENTIRE movie and not one attendant walked inside the theater to check on the audience throughout the movie.”

“This place is decently clean, pretty well together. Tickets & concessions are a bit outrageously priced but that's like that at most theaters. For some weird reason though they only do refills on large sized popcorn & drinks which is a little frustrating. They do taste pretty good though, so you get what you pay for. Very comfortable seats in the theaters, they even have special seats for those who are handicapped! Overall a really nice place, definitely recommend!”

“We love the 49er. It's perfect for our family - our young boys fall asleep sometime during the first movie, and my husband and I get to have a date and see a couple movies without finding a sitter. There's also plenty of space for our boys to run before the movie, and the concessions are yummy and affordable. My only complaint (which is nothing they can fix) is that it's not closer to us!”

“This AMC has reclining seats, which our family loves. Our kids enjoy bringing blankets with them to cuddle up with while watching movies. I recommend the Kids Pack, which comes with popcorn, a kids drink, and fruit snacks for an affordable snack option for younger kids. Ticket prices are reasonable for the quality of the theater. Restrooms and theaters are always clean.”

“Great place to take your family. The prices are awesome you pay 11 per person to get in for adults and 6 I think for children under 12 to 3, 3 and below free. With these prices believe it or not you get 2 movies. The concession stand prices aren't that bad as well they have boundle deals so it's popcorn and a drink for 9 dollars with refills on the drink. Just amazing try it out”

“Clean, comfortable. Friendly staff. Wish more matinees, other than the 1st show of the day, were offered. Now that it's autumn, even less matinees are shown at both Schererville AMCs, and the regular prices are almost double. Expect about 20-25 minutes of previews before each show -- probably not this specific theater's issue as much as an AMC issue, or just a movie going issue, in general.”
